Change is inevitable…comming soon

Nothing deterred him from fulfilling his passion…

There was once a dog named Scott who served his master well right from the time he was born and taken care of by his owner. The owner got Scott to drive away his flock of sheep’s predators, the foxes, the wolves and all that desired to reduce their numbers one by one. Scott was trained to do so all the while he grew up and he loved his job too. There were several reasons why the dog was so attached to his job. His only friends were the sheep who along with his master was the world for him.

Scott with his owner

Scott’s owner died when he was six. There was nobody else who inhabited in the house where he stayed with his owner. The people who shifted in bought the flock of sheep for themselves and decided to desert Scott simply because they hated dogs. Scott knew that he couldn’t stay there anymore. However, he did not want to stop what he did throughout his life. He decided to stay back, not in house of course, outside it, in the barren field. Whenever he was found straying around the house, he was beaten up with a cane, trash, dirty water, anything unwanted was thrown at him. He didn’t give up. He continued to protect the sheep in spite of all the difficulties he was subjected to.

Nothing deterred him from fulfilling his passion.

Passion, no matter whatever you lose, stays intact and you go out of your way to fulfill it. Passion grows out of want. Passion is the bridge linking want and its fulfillment. People like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Sachin Tendulkar and an endless list of such people are passion personified. There are two things that can lead you to the destination you want to very badly. One is luck which turns out to be the shortcut. The other is passion, yes, and the longer path, difficult but the most satisfying when you achieve your goal. The ones who have changed the games they have been part of over the years are the ones who are huge passion-houses. So, take a leaf out of Scott’s life and pursue the path that passion leads you to and fulfill it no matter whatever comes in your way.
