Change is inevitable…comming soon

From Slice of Life to Spice of Life

Red is a colour associated with a wide range of emotions. And the same colour plays such a vague role in our lives; every phase of life that you’ve been through, red has a different personality.

Associate it with the rage you felt when you were nailed to the cross owing to a misunderstanding between you and your best friend whom you thought would never betray you. Didn’t you feel the rage rise to your throat, like lava rising to the tip of the volcano about to erupt, undoubtedly causing mass destruction, metaphorically too.
The heat you felt when you’re out tiring yourself chasing a train you almost missed, the sweat trickling down your scalding body, adrenalin pumping and the final sense of accomplishment when you are on that escaping train. All red.

The warmth, the gladness you felt the first time you kissed someone you really cared about. The most coveted emotions of them all, LOVE. The colour of the rosy feeling you felt every time you were with the love of your life. When you looked at life through rose coloured glasses, and every heart shaped balloon you saw being sold, reminded you of that one. The warm fuzzy feeling you feel after you’ve had a long unending conversation over the phone, the conversation you wish never ended. Undoubtedly, the feel of it all is red.

On the other hand, the despair you felt when you were torn, and the heavens came crashing down on you and all hell broke loose. The hopelessness, the feeling that nothing would ever be the same again, the extreme helplessness you felt, sadly is all red.

Every time you burnt your fingers, metaphorically and physiologically, the scalding of your skin, the heat that gives you a glimpse of how hell might feel. Every time blood is spilled, the sight along with the emotions induced, they all point to only one colour, prominent of them all, RED.
